Howard Hughes and The Woodlands Township would like to thank our corporate partners for their support of The Woodlands 50th Anniversary celebration. In this series, we highlight our partners and the positive impact they make in our community throughout the year.

The Woodlands is an amazing community, with an incredible spirit of generosity. Our residents and businesses offer tremendous support to local charities, making a positive impact on the lives of hundreds of thousands of children, adults and families each year.

With The Woodlands 50th Anniversary upon us, we would like to recognize and thank our Bronze Level sponsors who have not only supported our 50th celebration but who also support the many charities in our community throughout the year.

“The Woodlands community is an important part of who we are as Chevron Phillips Chemical. We have been headquartered here for nearly 25 years, and many of our employees are long-time residents. We find value in caring for our community through our philanthropic and volunteer efforts,” stated Chevron Phillips Chemical.

“Since relocating from Houston in 1999, The Woodlands has proven to be the perfect balance of family and entrepreneurship. Much has transpired in these 25 years, and the comfort of raising our children and establishing The Republic Grille could never have happened without the unique vision put forth by Mr. Mitchell. The Woodlands truly is “Home,” shared Terry McBurney, Founder and Owner of The Republic Grille.

“Lone Star College has been proud to contribute to education in The Woodlands since the opening of Lone Star College-Montgomery in 1995,” stated Lone Star College Chancellor, Mario K. Castillo. “We have enjoyed numerous partnerships with institutions of education and local businesses as we have all witnessed tremendous growth and development in The Woodlands. We appreciate the trust the community has given us. Currently, 17,000 students demonstrate their confidence in Lone Star College by enrolling at these two locations serving The Woodlands. I am thankful for their continued faith in us, and our Lone Star College team commits to serving them well so that they will become the future leaders who invest themselves into serving The Woodlands community.”
