Rich in History.

Established in 1974, GMVC opened as the first shopping destination in The Woodlands. Originally named The Wharf, the center was home to a grocery store, pharmacy, The Woodlands Ice Rink and hosted many notable community events still active today including Lighting of the Doves and Arbor Day.

Established Farmer's Market.

Every Saturday (rain or shine) The Woodlands Farmer's Market takes place at GMVC. Since 2008, TWFM has grown to over 60 weekly vendors with fresh produce, prepared foods, farm-fresh meat, artisan goods, garden and health and beauty products.
