The Woodlands Waterway to Offer Community’s First Penthouse Living

Howard Hughes Holdings Inc.  has announced plans for a new, premier multifamily residential community in The Woodlands Town Center. Situated along the waterfront of The Woodlands Waterway, 1 Riva Row will include both a 13-story tower and four-story residential living, totaling 268 luxury units. 1 Riva Row will highlight the first penthouses offered in a multifamily community in The Woodlands along with ground-level two-story townhomes, and studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom designs.

1 Riva Row will be conveniently located within walking distance of the extensive shopping, dining and entertainment offered at The Woodlands Waterway, The Woodlands Town Center, The Woodlands Mall, Market Street, Waterway Square and Hughes Landing. Residents will also enjoy walkable access to water sports at the neighboring Riva Row Boat House and to open green space and community events at Town Green Park, as well as to The Woodlands’ acclaimed collection of outdoor public art and the community’s world-renowned amphitheater, The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion.

Offering elite features, the four-story amenity center at 1 Riva Row will focus on social luxuries, amenities and concierge services. Plans include an expansive indoor/outdoor pool deck with cabanas, a fire pit, grills, private dining pods and lounge seating overlooking The Woodlands Waterway. Also planned is a sports lounge with large TVs, sports simulator, pool table and bar seating. An upscale sky lounge terrace with a fire feature for events will highlight the amenities. A pet park with a pet wash station will also be highlighted.

Health and wellness are major attributes of 1 Riva Row and are accessible 24/7 through a two-story fitness center. The center will offer a mix of yoga, strength equipment, cardio, barre, and TRX, along with a bike room including bike storage, bike repair and kayak storage. 1 Riva Row will provide convenience to trails for walking, jogging and running along the 1.8-mile waterway.

For a flexible business schedule, co-working space with a mix of conference rooms, private offices, open workspaces and booths will create a personalized office experience within the multifamily development.

1 Riva Row is anticipated to be LEED Silver Certified, furthering Howard Hughes’ commitment to sustainability. 1 Riva Row will feature electric vehicle charging stations, enhanced air quality measures, native vegetation, and high efficiency energy and water systems.

Howard Hughes will break ground in late August on 1 Riva Row with completion anticipated for the fourth quarter of 2025.
