Hands down, there’s only one way to beat the South Texas summer heat outdoors, and that’s hitting the pool!

Throughout The Woodlands, you’ll find so many options to splish splash that appeal to children, adults, and families alike.

There are 14 unique pools and six spraygrounds with two additional splash areas situated throughout the villages in The Woodlands.

Season passes, punch cards or day passes are among the options to enjoy the aquatic facilities in The Woodlands.

Here’s a rundown of some of the exciting amenities (varies by pool) you can enjoy:

  • Family slides, many are themed
  • Dedicated lap lanes for paced swimming
  • Baby pools
  • Spraygrounds
  • Play features
  • A 500-foot lazy river with tubes included
  • Ramps for easy entry
  • One-meter diving boards
  • Zero-depth-entry water playgrounds
  • Tower slides
  • Shade features

While you are allowed to bring a cooler of snacks and beverages, keep in mind that glass containers and alcohol are prohibited.

Many of the pools and shaded pavilions are available to rent for a special occasion such as birthday parties, reunions, or celebrations.

Private and group swim lessons are also available at the area pools.

Sraygrounds are located at Sawmill, Harper’s Landing and Shadowbend pools. There are independent splash areas in May Valley Park in the Village of Sterling Ridge; Timarron Sprayground in the Village of Creekside Park; and Village Green Sprayground in Creekside Park Village Green. Grandma’s Purse at Waterway Square and Market Street Fountain offer public splash areas.
