Azzurro Italian Coastal Cuisine has recently opened in Hughes Landing, featuring a premier patio overlooking Lake Woodlands.
The new restaurant serves Italian regional seafood specialties, handmade pasta, several braised meats, steak options, and rare Italian wines. The ambiance fully reflects the emphasis on the coastal region of Italy with its vibrant, seaside décor.
Azzurro represents the fourth prestigious dining establishment in The Woodlands to be opened by local restaurateur Enrique Orioli and his family-owned and operated restaurant group. Orioli’s other three restaurants include the Creekside Park and Research Forest area locations of Avanti Italian Kitchen & Wine Bar, and the award-winning Via Emilia Italian Restaurant in the Village of Indian Springs, winner of OpenTable’s “Tastemaker Award” for Best Italian Restaurant and “Diner’s Choice.”
Many of the restaurants’ recipes come from Orioli’s grandmother, Nonna Elda, who was born and raised in Northern Italy.
