Winter Wonders of The Woodlands — What to Do and When to Do It
We are heading into that special time of the year when The Woodlands transforms itself into a winter wonderland and residents get that joyful feeling of local event wanderlust. Here is a quick rundown of some favorite hometown Holiday festivities to mark on the calendar!
Market Street’s Musical and Lights Christmas Tree
Starting November 15th watch the 70-foot tall Christmas Tree and its surrounding synchronized twinkle lights dance to holiday music every hour on the half hour from 5:30-9:30pm.
36th Annual Lighting of the Doves Festival
On November 17th from 3-9pm enjoy snow play, holiday musical performances, children’s activities, Santa’s special arrival on The Woodlands Waterway and fireworks in Town Green Park.
Ice Rink
From November 17th to January 21st enjoy The Woodlands Ice Rink daily from 3-11pm and then take a walk to admire the colorful storybook lights display that wraps around the corner.
The Enchanted Forest
With evening performances running from November 29th through January 6th, this interactive theatrical performance is a multi-sensory light, dance and theatre installation which will transform the Glade Cultural Center into a winter forest. Tickets available at www.gladeartsfoundation.org.
Winter Wonderland
Come out to Creekside Park Village Green on Saturday, December 8 from 1-5pm for fun holiday activities for your family, including a visit from Santa and live reindeer.
Grand Chanukah Celebration
On December 2nd from 4-7pm Market Street will host a Grand Chanukah celebration in Central Park presented by Chabad of The Woodlands.
