The Club at Carlton Woods in the Village of Carlton Woods Creekside in The Woodlands is home to the Tom Fazio Championship Course, which was quickly recognized by Golf Digest as the “Best New Private Course in Texas” and the “#3 Best New Private Course in the U.S.” after it debuted in 2005.

The Fazio Course is the second of two championship golf course at The Club of Carlton Woods. The Jack Nicklaus Signature Course in the Village of Sterling Ridge opened in 2001.
