Around Town — In Conversation with Rich Nieto
Every month we meet people who live or work in The Woodlands as they answer our Around Town questionnaire.
Meet Alden Bridge Villager Rich Nieto, 48, a Sergeant with the Houston Police Department, husband and father of 2 children, on a morning a run with his daughter Nakeli and their dog in Alden Bridge Park, and on another day enjoying a nature stop at Lake Harrison in the Village of Grogan’s Mill:
When and from where did you move to The Woodlands?

Alspaugh’s Ace Hardware of The Woodlands. They have everything there!
Something not everyone knows about you?
I was on a local news television recurring segment called “Wheel of Justice” a few years ago. Fun!

My secret guilty pleasure is watching “The Price Is Right” television game show. I’d like to win the Final Showcase Showdown with my bid being so close to the actual retail price that I win both showcases!
Rich looks forward to spending time with his family and attending a slew of rock concerts this summer. Next time you’re in Alden Bridge Park or visiting Lake Harrison, keep an eye out for him. You never know who you’ll meet around town!
