Meet Billy Sanders, 25, Sales Specialist in Market Street in The Woodlands and a senior student at The University of Houston.
When did you start working in The Woodlands?
I started working in the area in 2017.
Favorite band from your teen years?
The Script.
Favorite local nature spot?
The Waterway. I love to run there in the early mornings on weekends.
Name two films and/or television series in your streaming queue?
Great Gatsby (for the fashion) and Black Mirror (for the interesting stories).
Favorite dish from a local restaurant?
Steak and shrimp scampi at Kirby’s Restaurant.
You win airline tickets to any destination. Where would you travel?
Rome, Italy.
Favorite local store(s)?
Suit Supply and Dick’s Sporting Goods. I’m either in a suit or in workout gear – I’m a man of fashion extremes! Ha!
Something not everyone knows about you?
I’m a Greek Mythology geek.
Favorite area event?
The monthly Woodlands Car Club Shows at Market Street.
What is on your bucket list?
Open my own sports training facility in The Woodlands.
This summer, Billy looks forward to traveling to Florida and possibly Rome, Italy as he takes a much needed break from his journalistic studies.
