Project Adds Luxury Residences Walkable to Waterway Square®

THE WOODLANDS, TX – (June 21, 2019) –The Howard Hughes Corporation® (NYSE:HHC) began construction today on a new, 179,338-square-foot luxury multifamily project, situated on 1.67 acres at the southeast intersection of Six Pines Drive and Timberloch Drive in The Woodlands®. The project is adjacent to The Millennium Six Pines and The Millennium Waterway, both communities in the Howard Hughes portfolio.

This seven-story, multifamily building will provide the perfect urban living setting, located in The Woodlands Town Center® near The Woodlands Waterway®. The project will be comprised of 163 residences and offers one-, two- and three-bedroom plans as well as townhomes with direct street access. The average unit size is 1,100 square feet. Features in the new development include quartz countertops, simulated wood flooring, stainless appliances, walk-in closets, nine-foot-plus ceilings and washer and dryers in every home. All units will highlight home automation technology, which allows the tenant to control the door lock, thermostat and lights via smartphone or verbally through Amazon’s voice-controlled, Alexa.

The new development will showcase a clubroom, state-of-the-art fitness center, third-floor amenity deck, outdoor cooking, bike storage and gated entrance to the parking for the residential units. Co-working spaces for residents who work from home will be featured, adding a unique amenity to the multifamily community.

This new multifamily facility architecturally complements The Millennium Six Pines and The Millennium Waterway and adds a distinctive tower element. The project is the seventh community in the multifamily collection of Howard Hughes in the Greater Houston region with six in The Woodlands and one in Bridgeland®.  Along with the new building, multifamily residences include Creekside Park® The ResidencesOne Lakes Edge®, Two Lakes Edge (under development), The Millennium Six PinesThe Millennium Waterway and Lakeside Row (under development) in Bridgeland.

This community is projected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2020. The project team consists of Shepley Bulfinch as the architect, and Hoar Construction as the construction manager.
