Five Things to do in The Woodlands for the First Week of May

Flowers are blooming. Spring is underway, and it’s May. Whether you are a golfer, athlete, sports fan or love music, The Woodlands is the par-fect place to be for the first week of May.

Here’s a list of five things to do in our hometown this week:

1.    Insperity Invitational by UnitedHealthcare – PGA TOUR Champions at The Woodlands Country Club Tournament Course, May 1 – 7.

2.    Creekside Park Unplugged at Creekside Park Village Green -  Party On performs free cover music from the 60s to today. Wednesday, May 3, 6 – 8 PM.

3.    CB&I TRI – The Woodlands Triathlon – 14th annual triathlon begins at Northshore Park. Saturday, May 6, 7:00 – 11:30 AM.

4.    Waterway Nights at Waterway Square® - The 1900s performs free 90s R&B music at Waterway Square. Saturday, May 6, 6 – 8 PM.

5.    National Bike Month  - May is National Bike Month.  Hop on your bike and enjoy the 212 miles of hike-and-bike trails spread throughout the community.

 Along with these fun activities, it’s also Cinco de Mayo on Friday. With over 200 restaurants in The Woodlands, there’s sure to be some fiestas!
